There’s no business like ‘snow’ business! Fulton-El Camino Recreation and Park District and the Sacramento Children’s Musical Theater present “Snow Biz!” the ultimate all singing, all dancing youth holiday musical revue for all ages. This fun and festive musical celebration will instantly get you in the holiday spirit, as local youth perform a hit parade of your favorite holiday songs!
Our convenient eleven week program (September-December) with only one rehearsal per week on Sundays makes participation easy for busy families.
Auditions: Saturday, September 13th from 12:30-5:00pm
Ages 5-8: 12:30-2:30pm
Ages 9-12: 2:30-4:00pm
Ages 13-18: 4:00-5:00pm

Where: Howe Park Community Center 2201 Cottage Way Sacramento, Ca 95825
Rehearsals: Meetings take place from September through December, on Sundays between 1-5pm. (Cast members meet for 90 minutes within this time frame, specifics to be determined when cast. Younger cast members tend to rehearse in the first hour.)
Tech week and performances: December 1st-7th
Cost: The participation fee for the program is $325 per child ($25 discount per sibling) and includes all rehearsal materials, use of show costumes and a show t-shirt. In addition to the participation fee, families are responsible for purchasing dance shoes ($30) and selling tickets to the performances that take place at Rosemont High School.

How do I prepare my child to audition?
1. Sign up online to attend auditions.
2. Please stop in during your age time slot and plan to stay for about an hour. If you have children in different age groups auditioning, they may audition together in the same time slot.
3. Please prepare to sing sixteen bars (around thirty seconds) of any song (without music). Select a dynamic song that really shows off your personality and pipes. If your child is not comfortable singing at auditions, we can have them skip the singing portion of the audition and recite “Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to “Snow Biz!”
4. Bring a photo with you. A snapshot or print-out of a photo will help us remember you when it comes to casting.
5. Relax and get ready to have a lot of fun! We strive to make our program enjoyable and low pressure. SCMT fosters diversity and inclusion and no experience is required.
