Alice in Wonderland Live! Auditions
John Bisceglie’s original musical comedy “Alice in Wonderland Live!” offers a variety of singing, dancing, featured and speaking roles for local youth ages 5-18. This wacky and wonderful retelling is set to a retro soundtrack of 1960’s and 70’s hits! Classic Wonderland characters along with special appearances from vintage TV, movie, and pop culture personalities make for one outrageous and unforgettable journey down the rabbit hole!
Our convenient program with only one rehearsal per week makes participation easy for busy families.
Audition sign ups will begin in December.
Auditions: Sunday, February 8th
Ages 5-8: 12:30-2:00pm
Ages 9-12: 2:00-4:00pm
Ages 13-18: 4:00-5:00pm

The participation fee for the four month program is $345 per child (includes a $20 refundable costume deposit)
The participation fee includes all rehearsal materials and a show t-shirt. In addition to the participation fee, families are responsible for purchasing dance shoes and selling tickets to the performances that take place at Rosemont High School.
Our inclusive program accepts all youth who audition. SCMT fosters diversity and inclusion and no experience is required.
Rehearse on either Wednesdays or Sundays at Howe Park in Sacramento.
Rehearsals: February – May, Wednesdays 4-7pm or Sundays 1-5pm. (Cast members meet for 75 minutes within the window, specifics to be determined when cast. Younger cast members tend to rehearse in the first hour of rehearsal.) Cast members are allowed to miss two pre noted rehearsals.
Our “Wednesday cast” will rehearse on Wednesdays, from February 18th – May 13th.

How do I prepare my child to audition?
1. Sign up online to attend auditions.
2. Please stop in during your age time slot and plan to stay for about an hour. If you have children in different age groups auditioning, they may audition together in the same time slot.
3. Please prepare to sing sixteen bars (around thirty seconds) of any song (without music). Select a dynamic song that really shows off your personality and pipes. If your child is not comfortable singing at auditions, we can have them skip the singing portion of the audition and recite “Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to “Snow Biz!”
4. Bring a photo with you. A snapshot or print-out of a photo will help us remember you when it comes to casting.
5. Relax and get ready to have a lot of fun! We strive to make our program enjoyable and low pressure. SCMT fosters diversity and inclusion and no experience is required.
